Kathleen A. Long, MD joined the cancer care team of Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, P.C. (NGOC) in 1999.  Dr. Long relocated to NGOC’s Paulding Cancer Center after serving patients in the northwest Georgia mountain communities of Canton and Jasper.  She treats all forms of cancer and blood disorders with a special interest in breast cancer.

Dr. Long is actively involved in cancer research and clinical trials to find a cancer cure and provide her patients with the most advanced cancer treatment available in Georgia.

“I focus on a patient’s overall well-being because cancer affects many aspects of a patient’s life, not just their physical health.  It’s important to address the patient’s emotional, spiritual and social needs as well as the underlying cancer. Loving Arms Cancer Outreach, one of the supportive care services NGOC offers, is instrumental in helping our practice address many of these needs.”

Dr. Long provides patient-centered cancer care at NGOC’s Paulding Cancer Center.
