Raul H. Oyola, MD came to the United States in July 1992 from Colombia to continue his studies in medicine. Upon completion of his Fellowship at the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 2001, Dr. Oyola joined Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers and served at its Austell Cancer Center for a decade before moving his practice to NGOC?s Marietta Cancer Center in 2011.

As a Co-Principal Investigator of Clinical Trials, Dr. Oyola leads Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers? participation in national cancer research and clinical trials through its William S. Gibbons Cancer Research Institute. Dr. Oyola is dedicated to finding a cancer cure and providing his patients with the most advanced cancer treatment available in Georgia.

Dr. Oyola is the past chairman WellStar Health System Cancer Committee and WellStar Cobb Hospital Credentials Committee. He currently is serving on the WellStar Oncology Cabinet.

Dr. Oyola delivers patient-centered cancer care at NGOC's Marietta Cancer Center.
