Dr. Shaffer joined NGOC in 1997 after 16 years of service in the United States Army where he received his fellowship training at Brooke Army Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology and sees patients at the Marietta and Jasper offices. Dr. Shaffer leads an active life with his four children.
