Madhuremi Uppalapati, MD came to the United States from her native India in July 2000 to pursue her medical education. Upon completing her Fellowship in 2006 at Georgetown University Hospital, Dr. Uppalapati joined the cancer care team of Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers.

Dr. Uppalapati currently serves as the Chairperson of the Cartersville Medical Center?s Cancer Committee. She also is actively involved in cancer research and clinical trials to find a cancer cure and provide her patients with the most advanced cancer treatment available in Georgia.

Dr. Uppalapati delivers patient-centered cancer care at NGOC's Cartersville Cancer Center.
