Madhurima Uppalapati, MD is the President and Medical Director at Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, P.C. (NGOC) where she is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial and strategic direction for the centers, as well as the internal operations of the facilities. She came to the United States from her native India in July 2000 to pursue her medical education. Upon completing her Fellowship in 2006 at Georgetown University Hospital, Dr. Uppalapati joined the cancer care team of Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, P.C. (NGOC). Dr. Uppalapati also holds an Executive MBA from Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.
Dr. Uppalapati is a board certified, accomplished oncologist with fifteen years of experience in oncology and hematology. Over the course of her career, Dr. Uppalapati has shown a track record for providing quality patient care to diverse populations with a focus on providing screening and education to the community.
Dr. Uppalapati is actively involved in cancer research and clinical trials to find a cancer cure and provide her patients with the most advanced cancer treatment available in Georgia.
Dr. Uppalapati provides patient-centered cancer care at NGOC’s Marietta Cancer Center.
