Steven L. McCune, MD, PhD is an Atlanta native who joined the cancer care team Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, P.C. (NGOC) in Marietta upon completion of his Fellowship at Duke University in June 2002. With a special interest in lung cancer, Dr. McCune is actively involved in cancer research and clinical trials to find a cancer cure and provide his patients with the most advanced cancer treatment available in Georgia. He is the Director and Principal Investigator of NGOC’s William S. Gibbons Cancer Research Institute.
