Michelle A. Ojemuyiwa, MD has joined the cancer care team of Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, P.C. (NGOC). She received her medical degree from the Indiana University, School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. She then joined the Army, completing her internal medical training at Dwight David Eishenower Army Medical Center and fellowship through the John P. Murtha Cancer Center at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She is board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine.

While serving in the Army, Dr. Ojemuyiwa was named Medical Oncology Director of Clinical Research, helping to build the research program at the John P. Murtha Cancer Center. She has a special interest in breast cancer genitourinary malignancies. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and a national clinical trials researcher.

Having received an Army Commendation Medal in 2010 and a Joint Service Commendation Medal in 2014, Dr. Ojemuyiwa works with her patients to identify innovative treatment options.

Dr. Ojemuyiwa provides patient-centered cancer care at NGOC’s Cartersville Cancer Center.
