Bruce J. Gould, MD serves as Medical Director of Infusion Services for WellStar Health System.   Dr. Gould is known as an innovator and advocate for community-based cancer practices and tirelessly works to sustain and strengthen the accessibility, quality, and value of these practices nationwide.  Recently, he provided leadership to the development of an oncology medical home model pilot program designed to sustain the health and accessibility of community-based oncology practices and uphold quality measures, accountability, and patient satisfaction.

Specializing in breast and ovarian cancer, Dr. Gould has provided cancer care and treatment for all types of cancer patients in Marietta, GA since 1990 and was one of the founding partners of NGOC.

He currently serves as the President of the Community Oncology Alliance (COA), a national advocacy non-profit organization for cancer patients and their oncologists to help protect and foster the community oncology delivery system in the United States and protect patients’ access to quality and affordable care.   Dr. Gould also serves as an Advisory Board Member of RainTree Oncology Services, a leading-edge provider of comprehensive oral drug acquisition and management services to help community oncology practices improve and advance their patient care.

Dr. Gould is a staff physician at WellStar Kennestone Regional Medical Center and has served WellStar as the Medical Director of Hospice, Chairman of the Quality Review Committee and as a member of the Medical Care Evaluation Committee. Dr. Gould also is actively involved in cancer research and clinical trials to find a cancer cure and provide his patients with the most advanced cancer treatment available in Georgia.

Dr. Gould provides patient-centered cancer care at NGOC’s Marietta Cancer Center.
